More 45 years ago brothers of Johan and Wim Bakkery have constructed the first powerboat Aquanaut. Then released boats had only digital index in round figures mirroring in centimetres length of a boat. In the early seventies the smallest was Aquanaut 750, and the greatest Aquanaut 950. All of them were initially projected as reliable boats for family travel and made only of a steel. Subsequently there were boats with a fodder cabin, and in second half 70 the new series having a little banal, but nevertheless proper name – Beauty.
It is difficult to believe, but all production Aquanaut from seven absolutely different sorts of yachts, from 11-metre walking Aquanaut Drifter OK to impressing 19-metre Global Voyager, nowadays creates collective number of all nearby 70 persons! Besides, this collective builds for a year on the average 25 courts of the highest workmanship. But nevertheless queue on building of yachts exists. A minimum year.
For those who wishes to join the water environment already in a latency of construction of the ordered yacht, Aquanaut offers стеклопластиковые boats. In the Netherlands the company is exclusive distributor Bella, Flipper, Aquador. Besides here the system like automobile a trade-in widely practises. Happy owners of new yacht Aquanaut can leave the old boat in territory of shipyard for sale. And still Aquanaut offers services in parking of yachts in own harbour. By the way, to hold there a boat it is not too unprofitable: from ten-metre tank will take a maximum one thousand euro for a year.

Today the shipyard lineup is opened by series Aquanaut Drifter which has appeared in the mid-nineties. Six standard sizes of yachts in length enter Into it from 10,6 to 14,95 metres with a fodder cabin (АК), and. Three classes of ship with an open cockpit (ОК). For each size it is provided six kinds of a lay-out, except that, any customer has the right to bring the wishes in the internal arrangement of the yacht executed with traditionally high quality. As a rule, all Driftery АК are equipped by two posts of steering, nasal ПУ and an independent defroster. And the swimming platform integrated into the case not only is convenient, but also increases length of a waterline that positively affects boat hydrodynamics.
«Дрифтер» by definition is a small fishing vessel which after statement of networks lays down in drift, that is in Russian, drift. This name the company wished to underline a practicality, reliability and seaworthiness of the courts of a new line. Yachts have been designed for distant cruises, including long sea transitions. From here and a strong design of the case from a steel of 4-6 mm, both carefully verified bypasses, and malar кили, and a stock of fuel a minimum in half-tons. The truth a set (стрингеры and frames) unlike competitors does not look very convincingly. Especially in a nose from миделя where rigid contact pieces to piers are inevitable.
Nevertheless, all Driftery have a seaworthiness class “In”. It is a pity only that in a pursuit of all qualities set forth above, designers have absolutely forgotten about appearance of boats, and ruler Aquanaut Drifter (except the greatest, with windows in the case), has turned out not that that ugly, and simply boring, any.
